- ON THE ARENAL-BOL BEACH
Night of San Juan. It has been celebrated in Calpe since 1991. It is the shortest night of the year, coinciding with the summer solstice. Numerous traditional rituals with deep roots in ancient customs are performed.

Events: Children games – Popular dinner - “Cremà”, burning of the bonfire in the Arenal-Bol  beach at 24.00 h. – Open-air ball in the Colón Square.

- IN THE COMPLEX LA COMETA
It has been celebrated since distant times and organised by one of the families of Calpe.
On the eve of the day of San José, patron Saint of la Cometa, a bonfire is prepared with old tables and chairs and other unwanted objects. It is then lit in the night to celebrate the arrival of summer.

Events: Bull running afternoon and night – Children games in the afternoon – Paella contest - "Cremà", burning of the bonfire.
